How to Engage in Wonderful Solo Dates

Engaging in a wonderful solo date begins with your interests and comfortability. I’m very adventurous and will do pretty much any activity alone. However, I have many friends and family members who aren’t as comfortable alone.

Solo dates can start with something as simple as getting a cup of coffee or tea alone and sitting in your car while you enjoy it.

After that, try getting a meal To-go and enjoying it at a park or at your house.

Each date you take yourself on should gear you up to something bigger or longer. This is a chance for you to truly love your own company.

Solo dates allow you to enjoy life even if others are unable to attend. They teach you independent skills and help you develop your own personality. They provide you with exciting things to talk about. They provide you with advice, you can recommend places for others to go and invite others to a place you’ve already enjoyed.

Here are a few places I engaged in wonderful solo dates

  • OceanFront Restaurant in Malibu
  • Oceanfront Restaurant in Miami
  • Shopping
  • Mexico
  • Dallas Fort Worth
  • Las Vegas
  • Denver
  • San Francisco
  • New York
  • Gym
  • Library
  • Camping
  • Beach
  • Disneyland
  • Movie Theater
  • Nightclubs

I love experiencing life and oftentimes I don’t want to limit my experiences just because others are unable to attend. Many of these adventures I didn’t even ask anyone to join me… I just went.

Most people are afraid of what others might think of them alone. Or even what may happen to them if they are alone. I’ve written two articles that can help you grow from those fears. How to build your confidence and How to develop your self security.

Cheers to you, from me !
